back in the day the FBI only dealt with national “ problems”
It was always that way until the creation of Homeland Security and they came to be under that umbrella.
Imo, this has cause for great concern as there seems to be no clear cut jurisdiction. Its just more & more of HS thuggishness. The bureau needs to be separated from HS & have its own budget , etc...
Another item to consider - the bureau has its hierarchy but is data drivven, just like schooling & testing ftom kindergarten & on. Imo the data driven institutions lose credibility & egregious “ no boundaries” & failure of serving their country because “ its all in the numbers”. Data driven teaching is also responsible for students not being able to learn & excel
& later be successful in life.
