I remember during covid the number of teens in my area that committed suicide. I was so mad/sad and will never forgive the people who drove them to this.

It’s tragic if anyone commits suicide.
I’m open to learning, what are “we” supposed to do? Create more government programs for mental health screenings? Require doctors to do some sort of mental health screenings at routine doctor’s appointments for other issues?
I’ve heard there are suicide hotlines people can call, and hopefully they get help from calling such services. Are those services effective; do we know?

How many of those 49K suicides were done with a gun?
I read over and over that a huge portion of "gun violence victims" are really suicides.

“There’s something wrong. The number should not be going up,” said Christina Wilbur, a 45-year-old Florida woman whose son shot himself to death last year. “My son should not have died,” she said. “I know it’s complicated, I really do. But we have to be able to do something. Something that we’re not doing. Because whatever we’re doing right now is not helping.”Start with the person in the mirror.

Sadly this is what I predicted, although it has very little to do with the availability of guns. It’s the dreadful rise of mental illness.

The article blames guns, but guns are not a motive, but a means.
It is quite possible that the encouragement in schools of gender fluidity and homosexuality is the motive.
Homosexuals and transexuals are 3 to 6 times more likely to commit suicide than heterosexuals. That's massive.

Something that we’re not doing. What we're not doing is giving each generation of Americans a Solid Foundation upon which to build a life. Degenerates in America expelled Christ from America and the vacuum brought in every evil under the sun.
Dope addicts. Sexual deviants and perverts. Nihilistic violence in entertainment. The whole cult of the Climate Change fraud.
Every degenerate American who facilitated the above is going to answer. Some Day. But for right now, our young people are paying the price for the sins of their parents.

suicide, like drugs, alcohol, deviancy is to kill the pain of living.
There is no purpose in life.
All there is is hopelessness. but don’t worry the govt is here to save us.
What should our purpose in life be?

When will enough be enough? Guess the ‘authorities’ aren’t counting the 100,000+ ODs as suicides eh? But, firearm abuse/misuse? Now there’s a real problem they can sink their fangs into.

Hey Democrats, stop filling our young people with dread and despair.
Parents, show your offspring through your lives with them that they are beautiful children of a wonderful God who created them because He loves them.

Treat the majority of the population as if they are pariahs, tell them all the bad in the world is because of them. Tell them the world is going to end in 10 years.
Suicides go up? I wonder why.

The nation must repent and believe in Jesus. Depression (sorrow of heart) is one of the judgments upon a nation for turning from God.
