My only comment is that I don’t expect the “general population” to be capable of providing decent soldiers. A random selection of today’s young people seems likely to provide mostly headaches for anyone trying to whip them into shape — especially so when you cannot be mean to, or yell at new recruits.

I think Democrats announce the draft after the fraudulent 2024 election. Woodrow Wilson did not want to implement conscription until after his 1916 re-election.

In the very very very small chance one was reinstituted, it sure isn't going to be 1 month before a presidential election, with all of the House and 1/3 of the Senate up for vote. That definitely ain't happnin'.
