Cannot even imagine the nightmare of trying to work with draftees from a woke generation that is traumatized by pronouns….

I work in Naval Aviation. Are we going to task these draftees with performing maintenance on aircraft? It would take only seconds for a disgruntled draftee to cause hundreds of thousands of dollars in damage to a fighter plane, damage that could take weeks to repair.

Or just give them rifles and send them to the front and you'll wind up with 80-IQ "scholars" shooting each other because someone dissed the other's babymama on Instagram.

Bingo.

The number of talented active duty regulars who would leave is a bigger problem with a draft than the person refusing to be drafted. I know firsthand of several individuals who retired due to a wave of recruiting that brought in problem children. Those that weren't able to retire were signing up for special duty assignments that would insulate them from the newly enlisted rabble. For a few, it made the decision to separate a lot easier.

As the JAG officers repeatedly pointed out, "the brass brought them in and we spend the next year throwing them out." Some of the recruits were simply thugs that belonged in a prison, not in the military - and these were recruits, not draftees. A quick look at their Unfavorable Information File (UIF) showed that those with the right ethnicity were allowed in despite using hard core drugs in the past - white guys - "No thank you."

Understaffed and overworked units in particular have no leeway when dealing with malcontents and criminals. There's too much work and not enough time to be dealing with problems. Knowing one's performance reports are dependent on getting the job done, the NCOs in particular were having none of it.

I could tell you stories of the costs to the taxpayer of the damage that some of these people did, including politically damaging crimes in foreign countries by misfits who had no business being in uniform.
