Interesting observation about the war crime trials after WW II. I recently watched "Judgment at Nuremburg." It was a fascinating study of what was the best course of action -- draconian execution of everybody even the Nazis who were "just following orders" or reconciliation in the hopes of creating a better Europe.

These bastards have not held out the slightest hope or possibility of reconciliation.

We need a five or ten million man march on Washington to have any chance of them coming to their senses.

Yet the prosecution can selectively leak whatever they want on statements taken out of context and do so with impunity before a judge who should have refused herself in a city where the defendant’s jury will be made up of none of his peers. Sounds like a Nazi era show trial to me.

So, the prosecution has had 3 years to gather evidence and build their case (and spread malicious, inflammatory lies about the defendant), but on her whim, the judge can demand the trial proceeds, even though the defense has not had ample time to review the evidence and gather exculpatory evidence?

Why did these criminal cases just happen to be brought when Donald Trump began his campaign to return to the White House? If Trump is a dangerous criminal, why did they wait 3 years to charge him?

A perspective worth noting. They have the accelerator to the firewall on that. As has been said by many, if they will do what they are doing to such a high profile person as Trump, they'll certainly get around to doing it to citizens of less stature. That's the natural progression of despotism. They'll start with the low-hanging fruit that provides cover for justification, like the fellow the other day in Utah who got a firing squad, then work their way back upwards from there, where anyone and everyone is at risk of some sort of enforcement action if they are deemed adversarial to the Regime.
