Sheriff Labat served as the President of the Georgia Chapter of the National Organization of Black Law Enforcement Executives in 2011, President of the Georgia Jail Association in 2016 and was named the GJA Jail Administrator of the Year in 2015 and 2019. Additionally, he was invited to serve as a witness at the Social Problems Hearing for the President’s 2020 Commission for Law Enforcement and Justice. He currently serves as a member of the FirstNet Health & Wellness Committee and chair of the Major County Sheriff’s Association Detention & Jail Committee.

Well, Trump may finally get his mug shot, which he can then use on T-shirts, and more to do a lot of fundraising. I suspect, though, like the other indictments, the mug shot won’t happen.
