It looks like that can’t be called a conspiracy theory anymore.

I’d rather see foreign owners than these filthy libs. They will make it all a money put.

The owners are getting swamped with calls from realters and buyers. I'm sure they were all lowball offers. Developers smelling the desperation and hoping for a deal.

The land is going to be very expensive. Fantasy Island for the far left elites.

The fire is a land grab. They won't cooperate, so burn them out and buy the land at a fire sale price. Too bad it also turned into a mass murder. The current estimate is between 500 and 1000 killed by the fire. Less than 3% of the remains have been located and identification is going to be done by DNA match to relatives (assuming the DNA from the remains is in satisfactory condition).

Why?
The state is KING. The KING does what he wants to do.
It is as simple as that,
People “own property” at the pleasure of the KING.
NEVER FORGET THAT FACT!
As putrid as realizing the fact is “We,” are being controlled by those who are acting as KINGS.

It is amazing how the government can screw people and say they are doing them a favor at the same time.

Agenda 2030...land grabs by WEF to "rewild". State of Hawaii scheming to make a "Smart City" out of Lahaina. Clearly collaborating with WEF/Agenda 2030. The fires in California happened on top of an area targeted for "rewilding" by Agenda 2030/WEF. Pin-point burnouts of properties that destroyed buildings/cars and left green trees adjacent to the "inferno" unharmed. The dispossessed who are not killed are herded into cities where they can be more easily controlled.

It’s hardly surprising, given the state’s Democratic leadership. They’re likely to enter the scene and acquire the land for a lower price. If you reside in a Democratic-leaning state, you’re essentially in unfamiliar territory; consider leaving if the opportunity arises.

Dunno who this guy is, but FOS about the property being next to the rich democrat mansion area. Mostly commercial property and modest older houses further back from the ocean.
No ocean views, no golf courses, nothing.
The water front commercial strip is the valuable land. The residential area was not particularly desirable other than being on Maui. Flat with no ocean view.
The rich liberals all live north of there a good ways. Kaanaplai is a much different area.

It’s becoming increasingly easy to understand the unfettered outrage that engendered the rampant French guillotines.

Most of the homes were owned by native Hawaiians who work in the shops and such. The homes were over 100 years old, and the owners could not get fire insurance, as the homes were not built to today’s codes.
They are wiped out, destitute.

Admitting Hawaii as a state was a big mistake. The International Longshore and Warehouse Union (ILWU), led by Harry Bridges, a Communist from Australia, had a stranglehold on Hawaiian commerce when almost all goods were transported by sea. As a territory and later a state, Hawaii was seen as a refuge for American leftists, e.g., Obama's American grandparents, who, if not Communists, were quite left wing while living in Washington State, and Frank Marshall Davis, a Chicago based leftist journalist who would work for a Honolulu newspaper published by the ILWU. Some believe that Davis, and not Barack Obama, Sr., was the father of Barack Obama. If true, that would explain the use of an apparently forged birth certificate for Barack Obama.
Democrats hold a supermajority in both houses of the Hawaii legislature, and the state has been written off by the Republicans, who have lost every Presidential election from 1988 to 2020, with Trump losing the state in 2020 by 30 percentage points.

The owners are now destitute. They cannot rebuild. No fire insurance, homes did not qualify, being 100 years old.
