The majority of Americans say former President Donald Trump should be criminally prosecuted for allegedly trying to overturn the 2020 election results, according to a new Quinnipiac poll.
The poll found 54% of Americans said prosecution is warranted as Mr. Trump faces criminal indictments in federal court and in Fulton County, Georgia, over his post-election actions. About 42% said he should not face prosecution.<
Ninety-five percent of Democrats said Mr. Trump should be prosecuted, and 5% said he should not. Fifty-seven percent of independents said the ex-president should face prosecution, and 37% said he should not.
However, 12% of Republicans said Mr. Trump should be prosecuted, and 85% said he should not.
Overall, nearly two-thirds of Americans said the charges against Mr. Trump related to the 2020 election are either “very serious” or “somewhat serious.” “Not only do a large majority of Americans regard the federal charges as serious, more than half of Americans think the former president should face prosecution,” Quinnipiac University polling analyst Tim Malloy said.

That said, Trump appears to be losing in the court of public opinion.
I have little faith that there will be any semblance of justice found in the Georgia, New York, or Washington DC courts. Further complicating matters for Trump is his innate inability to hire competent and trustworthy people.

I suggest we have 1 repub w EVERY 1 dem COUNTING the ballots. No “running” the ballots for joey through 3 or 4 times. Why cannot the repubs stand NEXT to them? When they say they are leaving and are done counting for the day a repub has to watch them ALL leave and guard the building so that they do not return or that trucks w boxes do not enter and deliver MORE dem ballots.
Why is this so hard? Guard the counters (why dems get to count and repubs are to stand in an area far away is STUPID). Stand NEXT to the dem counters and stay with them when they say they are done and want to leave. Guard the building-it is a public building outside. Stay there so that no “delivery trucks” appear, drop off boxes and leave.
Is it me or is this so easy and nobody protects our ballots? Get he people who run the banks to do this. If they are off a penny they have to account for it. They do not get to run the money through multiple times. Are Dems the ignorant ones or are the Repubs for allowing this idiocy.
And then they let the dems COUNT the ballots for week after til THEY win. How dumb are we to allow this. We THE PEOPLE need to look over this and not the idiots they pay to deceive us.

The indictment is a travesty so even if I believed the poll, they are wrong.
Meanwhile Biden is literally destroying America, including with the banana republic indictments.
They should also be asked if Hillary Clinton should be held to the same standards and prosecuted as she tried to overturn the 2016 election.
