weird, if I see more than 3 cars in front of me, I park and walk in. Its faster. I don’t know why these people like to sit in their cars waiting.
Yeah, it’s weird. A genuine sociological phenomena. Another Dutch Bros was just approved in my city. Their dual stacking lanes can accommodate 22 vehicles. They generate significiantly more traffic, per square foot, than any other type of business. And DB is unique— it’s not just ‘drive-by’ traffic headed elsewhere; they’re a destination, and people will drive for 20 minutes just to buy a $6 cup of sugary glop.
Next time you see those three cars in line, remember what that third car looks like. I’d be willing to wager that, while you’re waiting for your order inside, you’ll see that car getting their order and driving away.
Like it or not, most fast food places are geared for drive through service.
