As Bugs Bunny would say, “What a maroon!” Japan was on the Fascist side in World War II, allied with Nazi Germany. I thought leftists were supposed to be “antifascists.” Japan’s Imperial government was militaristic, ultranationalist, and persecuted communists. So, why should modern “progressives” have a problem with that country being bombed back then?
