About 2 AM in Vegas, we’ve had a steady rain, on the light/moderate side for about 8 hours steady. We NEVER get steady rain of any kind for that long here. No wind at all. Just a steady pleasant rain and 66 degrees, which is amazingly cool for this time of year. One would almost think of this as pleasant weather.
In Phoenix, right now we got nuttin, a very slight whisper of wind, thin cloud cover.
The south Pacific volcanic eruption sent trillions of gallons of water vapor into the air. The water cycle works and so does gravity.
That’s great news for Lake Mead and the Colorado river. Hurray for Hilary!
I’m in the middle of the Central Valley. It’s cloudy, pleasant, no rain expected until late this afternoon. It’s all good. If we get another inch or two of rain we’ll be in clover. Thank God for all His love.
Isn’t that rain in Las Vegas good for Lake Mead?
As a former Lss Vegan, I was hoping for some nice drizzle that lasted longer than 30 minutes, and I would love to see the desert 24-hours later.
I get very homesick for Vegas, but I’m only 140 miles away and twice the altitude. This is the first monsoon season I’ve seen in a lot of years where there was actual rain, even up here.
