There does appear to be a correlation between Hurricanes and Earthquakes. Changing pressures and added water seem to “loosen things up”.
Exactly what I was thinking, do you suppose there is enough change to get some real plate slipping?
Makes me think of that old joke about the state slipping in to the ocean..... doesn’t seem as much like a joke tonight.
You guys out on the west coast better batten down the hatches and hang on.
Not sure where that exists...TX, LA, FL, GA, SC, NC...None have earthquakes during hurricanes.
And they catch the majority of Atlantic hurricanes.
