Very true. But a lot of them would probably actually vote for Biden over DeSantis out of spite. I still think DeSantis, once his name gets better known outside those who follow politics, could put together a coalition of independents, and far right conservatives currently turned off by Trump, to win the election against any Democrat.

That is very optimistic in view of the reality that the more people see of DeSantis the lower he polls.
Once his name gets out there? What are you even talking about. At one point he had 40% support. His name recognition isn’t the problem.
