Body cams also ensure that any officer who disobeys an illegal/unethical order from a superior gets caught red-handed.
Body cams are also useful for weeding out the officers who still respect the Constitution.

Having seen what some cops do knowing that they are being recorded I hate to think what they did before!
I think it's even worse than that. Having AI go through all their video recordings is like having the most rabidly anti-police prosecutors sitting on their shoulders all the time.
(Steve Sailer has called the predictable police behavioral response to BLM/Defund the police "retreat to the donut shop". If police take their time to respond to calls, there won't be any interaction with criminals to record and for AI to screen.)
Yeah, can’t have armed agents of the state being held accountable.
Any cop that objects to body and dash cams shouldn't be a cop.
Personally, I think that politicians should be equipped with them as well.
