Precedence: PA judge ruled that Trump's actions were protected by "Presidential Immunity" based on a previous 1982 case (Nixon vs. Fitzgerald) where the Supreme Court ruled that the President has "absolute immunity" for all decisions done as President "even if those actions were unlawful".
Which case was the judge ruling on? What’s the judge’s name? What kind of “decisions” does this ruling include?
“Over”???
It’ll never be over until they kill Trump. Then they can move on to killing Ramaswamy, Desantis, et al.
BTT
Another inconvenient ruling that will be ignored.
At some point, we will be returning the favor...
Facts of the case
In 1968, Fitzgerald, then a civilian analyst with the United States Air Force, testified before a congressional committee about inefficiencies and cost overruns in the production of the C-5A transport plane. Roughly one year later he was fired, an action for which President Nixon took responsibility. Fitzgerald then sued Nixon for damages after the Civil Service Commission concluded that his dismissal was unjust.
Question
Was the President immune from prosecution in a civil suit?
Yes. The Court held that the President “is entitled to absolute immunity from damages liability predicated on his official acts.” This sweeping immunity, argued Justice Powell, was a function of the “President’s unique office, rooted in the constitutional tradition of separation of powers and supported by our history.”
There is no way “they” (Deep State) would kill DeSantis. He’s controlled by the donors, the GOP establishment and Deep State.
“At some point, we will be returning the favor...”
Until Caesar lies bleeding out on the floor of the Senate and things spiral out of control.
Nixon v Fitzgerald, SCOTUS held that the president has immunity from liability for civil damages. It does not recognize immunity from prosecution for criminal charges.
What case was this please?
They will kill anybody to the right of Stalin, Mao or Pol Pot.
Perhaps this is a necessary step to resolve at the USSC ... which I feel confident will rule in the former president’s favor.
The case might not but the Constitution only gives one remedy on the criminal side... impeachment.
Et al = the rest of us.
They want us all dead or enslaved.
Which candidates are independent of the uniparty establishment that can't be bought off by donors and controlled? Other than Trump and JFK Jr., maybe, Ramaswamy.
At least he’s not going to Atlanta. I’m glad he stayed away from that mess. Smart man!
Over? Was it over when the Germans bombed Pearl Harbor?
Dimms know this is going to backfire bigger than they ever imagined. Suddenly it’s all good, whatever the Prez does while in office. This absolves Sniffy and Barry, no?
They are fine with any of them.
