It's his wife, not him, and she saw market conditions suggesting a good selling opportunity. That's not a crime.
He’s been corrupt for years, but he questions the Establishment narrative on some issues, and they need to be able to say, “See, we prosecute Democrats too”, so Menendez is a perfect sacrificial lamb for them with a Dem governor to appoint a replacement.
He’s up for reelection.
This is a pretext to convince him to “retire” so they can get a strong young Democrat elected and prevent a Republican from being elected (they’re scared after the NJ governor almost lost his seat in the last election and the Senate Majority Leader was tossed out by a political newcomer spending next to nothing).
I think last time they went after Medvedev was when he was on the ‘wrong side’ of either Obama’s or Clinton’s Cuba policy.
Maybe this time he’s getting ready to state the OBVIOUS, which is that Ukraine is a lost cause?

I’d say the best thing would be just to vote NO on him. Seems he’s been associated too much with the wrong things over the years. Of course, that seems to be normal for the Rats.
Did he speak out against Joe & Hunter? Why else would a Democrat DOJ go after him again?
