I'm as paranoid of this .gov as the next guy but when you get a call or text to your cell phone, do you accuse them of taking your phone over?
There shouldn’t be any fear or panic if we’re being told starting 2 months in advance. I assume they’ll be multiple reminders on local radio & tv stations prior to it.

This is different. This one is meant to remind people how useless the GOP is and that every effort should be made to avoid their convoluted message, whatever that happens to be.
Maybe you missed my point. They are able to, at the same time, on multiple phones and multiple carriers, able to put up a graphic screen with basically any kind of "alert" that they want. It means that they have unfettered access to all carriers and phone for whatever they want to do. It's different than a call or a text. You can ignore either of those. to most poeple mobile phones are communications devices. To the government they're tracking and manipulation devices.
What if one’s cellphone is off — powered down. Will the alert still sound?
They are planning something to cause great fear and panic.
Makes me wonder, too, if it’s going to be just a “test”.
If Trump was in office and this went down as a test, the liberals would be suspicious as well. But us being suspicious is grounded in reality.
