This is second hand, but the word I’m hearing from around the current Trump campaign team is they don’t want to lay a glove on Vivek, at least at this time. Speculation isn’t so much about the Veep spot, but a cabinet post.
Granted this is little more than rumor, but it makes sense looking in from the outside. Might change if the polling moves, but right now Ramaswamy has been running roughshod over the rest of the Rep. field. Pence basically ended himself in the debate, but VR delivered the coup de grace. And he made DeSantis look weak and unprepared. At minimum, Trumps going to let Vivek continue to whittle down the l8st of candidates for a few months.
Mark Levin contrasts DeSantis and Ramaswamy at the debate in this little snippet. I agree with Levin wholeheartedly.
