NYT’s Bidenomics Shill Paul Krugman Claimed Trump Poses ‘Existential Threat’ to America

The New York Times’s inveterate Bidenomics apologist Paul Krugman has a knack for reminding the world that former President Donald Trump lives rent-free in his head.

Krugman went on an unhinged rant against Trump, “an actual madman, a former president who tried to overturn an election and may yet destroy U.S. democracy.” It seems Trump set Krugman over the edge with his Aug. 17 Fox Business interview when he suggested a 10 percent tariff on imports from foreign countries and using the revenues “to pay off debt.” Trump’s plan also included playing a proverbial arm wrestling game by imposing matching tariffs on countries where U.S. exports are likewise hit with exorbitantly high tariffs, such as in India. Krugman devolved into full meltdown mode: “Given the existential threat he poses to America as we know it, Donald Trump’s economic ideas aren’t the first thing on most people’s minds.”

Aside from his nonsensical bluster about Trump supposedly being an “existential threat,” Krugman wore his blatant hypocrisy on his sleeve. While pontificating to his readers, Krugman bypassed the fact that Trump and the current president he shills for like a broken record have similar trade policy stances. AGF Investments Chief Policy Strategist Greg Valliere pointed out the presidential policy similarities on trade in an Aug. 28 blog. Specifically, Valliere noted that Biden “HAS MAINTAINED much of Trump’s hardline [trade] policies toward Beijing; the Trump tariffs have remained in place.” Valliere concluded that “both [Biden and Trump] are willing to use the tariff weapon as the U.S. seemingly has embraced a tougher trade stance ahead of the 2024 election.”

But according to Krugman, it’s “Trump’s idea [that] isn’t just extreme,” but also “mindless.”

So… blatantly and I constitutionally interfering in the democratic process to take out your political opponent is justified, Krugman?

Let the people decide the future of the US.

LET US VOTE FOR TRUMP.

Krugman was a paid advisor to Enron. So there’s that.

“By 2005 or so, it will become clear that the Internet’s impact on the economy has been no greater than the fax machine’s” - Paul Krugman (1998)

Calling Krugman an economist is like calling Spongebob a marine biologist. Calling him a political shill for liberals, however, is like calling Chris Christy chubby.

I just dont understand how a man who is always wrong gets airtime. I guess just having a body whos willing to shit on Trump get a gig.

11/9/2016.....ah the memories

“Now comes the mother of all adverse effects — and what it brings with it is a regime that will be ignorant of economic policy and hostile to any effort to make it work,” Krugman wrote. “So we are very probably looking at a global recession, with no end in sight. I suppose we could get lucky somehow. But on economics, as on everything else, a terrible thing has just happened.”

Krugman: “Given the existential threat he poses to America as we know it, Donald Trump’s economic ideas . . .”

If Trump’s ‘economic ideas’ were to take ‘America as we know it’ to ‘America as we *used to* know it’ that would only be an ‘existential threat’ to butthead elitists like Krugman.

I do believe Krugman hysterically opined that if Trump were elected in 2016 the economy would swirl down the shitter.

Krugman justifies assassination. He is far from alone. The View twits, NY Slimes, WaPo and cable media would celebrate.

Trump is their Emmanuel Goldstein. If he vanished from the scene, they would have to quickly invent a new one.

“Wrong, Krugman! You people are.”

More like a lethal assault than an “existential threat”.
