I was on the BOD of a public oil and gas company at the same time as Hunter.
Considerably larger than Burisma.
I was a major stockholder, petroleum engineer, and had 30+ years in the oil field from pumper to C-suite executive. I know everyone the company did business with. Oilfields bear my name.
Our comp was about $300K (half cash, half stock)plus meetings and committees (for another $70K or so, just depending on what was going on).
Hunter, the drug addict, with no experience, no stake in the company, much smaller company, got over a $1,000,000/year.
Our “least” experienced guy was a lawyer (and engineer) with 25 years experience who founded the fricking company.
Hunter’s retention and pay was absurd on its face.
The drug addict is still broke after receiving all that graft from the family business and still singing “Me and my Shadow”with the Big Incoherent One to raise more cash. The whole family suffers from an enlarged gallbladder syndrome.
