I used to listen to WXYT when they were around. Mark Scott, David Newman, John McCollough

Those were great days and such a powerful lineup. If I recall, Rush was also on that station at the time. Unfortunately, McCulloch and David Newman have passed in the last 3 years, and Scott in 2005.

Yes, Rush was on WXYT 1270 am and I could get it as I walked on my lunch hour unless I turned the wrong way for the weak signal on the Walkman’s antenna (dates it but we were talking about the old days).
Those conservative talkers were good guys and it was so great to hear Rush every weekday.

Thanks. I knew about Scott and Mccollough. Didn’t know Newman passes away.
