One of the big "gets" on Free Republic back in early 1998 was The Drudge Report posting up a Free Republic "breaking news" thread.

I got a couple of those. I was quick on the draw in those days.

I remember that like it was yesterday. I found FR from Drudge's site. He had a link titled "Whitewater Files." I clicked on it, and it brought me here. Never left these almost 26 years. Glad I had FR to grow old with.
