None of them tap dance, act or sing. I don’t know how Sammy came to be Jewish, by conversion or matrilineal descent, but he never threw a rock at a policeman.
Sammy had a Jewish friend who wore a Mezuzah and Sammy ended up converting. It was serious thing that was the butt of jokes back in the 1970’s among his friends in the entertainment industry.
