Moreso than other recent military defeats, this one is personal thanks to their heritage and quasi-religious backgrounds. I’m not sure how they will react when reality hits them, but it could be dangerous for Americans. They aren’t used to losing.

Their response to impending defeat is always going to be escalation. My guess is we will get a renewed push for the No Fly Zone.
