Could be because there are MILLIONS of acres of arable land (CO2 breathing plant life) being converted to solar “farms”?
If you remove millions of acres of plant life that utilizes CO2 and replace it with solar cells that do nothing to/with CO2, how is that better?
No mass balance calculations are made over the 25-year lifespan of the solar cells.
The other “GREEN” energy producer that is responsible for the harvest of trees are wind mills. They all use BALSA wood for the interior of the blades. Balsa tress primarily grow in the Amazon rain forest.
So, the more wind mills built, the more Balsa trees cut down in the Amazon Rain forest.
