HONOLULU (HawaiiNewsNow) - One month after the deadliest U.S. wildfire in more than a century, basic questions about the government’s preparation and response to the blaze that destroyed Lahaina remain unanswered — as the painstaking task of identifying remains continues.
No one will say who was calling the shots as the disaster unfolded or why the Bissen Administration waited until after the town had burned to ask the state for help.
Between county officials dodging basic questions and state agencies playing word games, deciphering who knew what — and when — has been incredibly complicated.
What is clear is that one month later, no one has taken responsibility or even apologized for failures the governor now says could have contributed to the death toll.

They will and they are. One cannot present facts to a indoctrinated Democrat. They refuse to believe anything anything except what the Democrats tell them. And they absolutely refuse to check anything out for themselves.
“no one takes responsibility or even apologizes...” — doesn’t that just sum up Leftie MO - Hawaii, Afghanistan, Russia/Russia/Russia, leaving Southern border defenseless, allowing in cartels and fentanyl, mutilating children, attacking babies in the womb, spending zillions on homeless as numbers continue to rise, spending fecklessly and creating a debt crisis and inflation....et cetera et cetera et cetera as the King of Siam would say.
And they won't apologize (people should be losing their jobs while they are "apologizing"). Once this is area is all cleared up and forgotten about, I expect to see new, wealthier people (Democrats) moving into that area.
