Putin is the only reason WW III or a nuclear war hasn’t occurred.

Ukraine has already attacked targets in Russia. That escalation has already occurred. This weapons system doubles down on that. If Ukrainian generals are thinking like generals, they will want to degrade Russian supply lines and Russian reinforcements; some 300k troops. That decision is divorced from any politics and diplomacy. It’s just doing the right thing when defending their country and attempting to win the war.

The decision by U.S. officials to provide weapons that reach the Russian homeland has longer range consequences, particularly if U.S. troops become further involved on Ukrainian soil. (Yes, we unofficially have U.S. troops in Ukraine.) If that becomes official, Russia is quite capable of affecting U.S. supply lines and troops here on U.S. soil. That would not be escalation by Russia. It is simply responding to U.S. escalation.

It is completely arrogant to think our military is prepared to handle attacks in America. Our military is scattered across the world, stationed in over 600 military bases with no cogent plan or strategy to defend the homeland. Meanwhile, our military cannot meet its recruiting goals. It trains to defeat pissant forces like those in Afghanistan, Syria, and Iraqi. It has not faced a modern military force in decades. Our military leardership is filled with woke officers from the Joint Chiefs all the way down to BCs. We have shipped our treasure and arms to Ukraine only to be wasted and rendered ineffective unless sold to Mexican cartels. While Russia produces weapons and ammo 24/7, we do not and we do not have the ability to quickly scale to do so.

Just wait until Russia starts destroying our weapons manufacturing plants and targeting military bases on our own soil. That’s where this is heading if the U.S. officially enters the war using our troops.

Biden will have the distraction that he needs to defend his crime family. The MIC will be ecstatic. Linda Graham will wear fatigues instead of a dress. Zeepers will be proven wrong. Yeah, it’s all worth it since we still have ZERO interest in Ukraine.

Why don’t we just send nuclear weapons to the Ukraine and be done with it.

“ATACMS could allow Ukraine to reach targets nearly four times further away”

Wonder how far ICBMs can fly relative to these.

They are and will use them. Just give them time. The plan is working as planned. The Biden Worshipers, The Neo Cons, The Globalists, The Haters of America, Will have us in a full blown all out nuclear war with Russia before it is over.

“When the big war starts, I really hope DC and all those stinking DC lawyers go first.. Just so we can, at least, have a little joy in the knowledge that THEY got THEIR just rewards..!!”

The DC leftists are like cockroaches. They will survive even a nuclear war, hunkered down in their luxurious underground bunkers... built at taxpayers’ expense...

while the rest of us who paid their salaries, fry and die like the Lahaina victims did. This event will be the official start of the Tribulation. In the aftermath, the left will take total and complete control of America, finally. One of their wet-dreams will have been accomplished.

Totally agree.
Let me add:
1. Russia is not the Soviet Union.
2. NATO, home of the WEF, will be the seat of the New World Order.

“Another step closer to a hot world war.”

And getting closer to having a miscalculation, mistake or intemperate decision trigger a chain reaction of unknown, and perhaps unthinkable, consequences.

That’s the general objective: create profits and a nice income stream for some people.

Biden keeps escalating things until ...

no, Putin keeps escalating things

just last week he met with fellow murderous-thug-dictator Kim of NK about getting more artillery ... so, this is merely a response to that

don't want to see more weapons?

maybe Russia should stop invading a sovereign country and just go back to its own land

sorry your idology blinded you to the point I meant.

You sound like a Neocon globalist who never found a war you didn't like.

I was referring to the constant push for war from people who never pushed for our national defense, while on a thread about Ukraine...

golly, how did we possibly get to such a delicate situation?

oh yeah, Russia illegally invaded a sovereign country in Feb. 2022 to start this war

so Russia is to blame ...

Another overhyped gold-plated junker built in small numbers at a high profit margin.

Unit cost is $1.5 million. Less than 400 built in 2022.

https://www.army-technology.com/news/us-atacms-missiles-production-lockheed/?cf-view&cf-closed

It’s like giving the Ukrainians four hundred 1000 kg bombs.

Can hit some big PR targets, but too few in numbers to be militarily significant.

Russia has a red line when it comes to a perceived danger and unacceptable threat being on its doorstep (i.e., Ukraine as a NATO member). All countries pursue their own national interests and have what they consider to be red lines. Do you think we would tolerate the presence of a serious threat in our hemisphere? Its all essentially about Realpolitik.

The only question now is how far things will go. There probably could have been, and perhaps may still be, a negotiated settlement to this mess. But this administration doesn’t seem the least bit interested in de-escalation. Trump would quickly find an end to this dangerous fiasco IMO.

Russia isn't interested in peace, only war

any "negotiated peace deal" would last only a few years before Russia attacks & invades again ... so it's not really any deal, is it?

fortunately for Ukraine, Russia's so-called "leaders" are really stupid ...
