He might grow up to be one of these guys at the ripe old age of eleven!

"11-Year-Old Home Alone Makes Burglar Cry With 9mm"
Or even worse, this young man:

I laugh now remembering vague threats and references to my permanent record. Not so funny any more.
I still remember how well a toy machine gun fit on the top of a fire hydrant in our front yard. Instant ack-ack on incoming bicycles!
When I was around that age I drew stick figures with guns, scenes from TV and movies. Now that wouldve probably sent me to a life of drugged up instituonalized.
Calling it “finger gun” or “gun finger” does not change the reality. It is a simulation, and not a very good one, of a gun. Generally the kid makes a sound that everyone understands is a simulation of the real sound of a gun.
If the world had been totally insane when I was a kid, as it is now, I would have been jailed for my games of “cops and robbers” “and cowboys and native Americans.” (It actually had another name; you know what it is.)
And the kid didn’t use his fingers to “shoot at another student.”
We seem to be living in a simulated reality. Fingers are treated like real guns and shot-like sounds are taken as real. People declare themselves to be the sex they are not, and everyone around them immediately denies reality and agrees.
They suspended both boys, surprised they didn’t just suspend the boy pretending to be a cop.
I played those same games all the time.
All public schools are toxic. Most parents know this yet I always hear this, “yeah, the public schools suck, but I’ve met my kid’s teacher, they are not like that…” Classic case of cognitive dissonance.
I then follow up with this question, “is your kid’s teacher a member of the teachers union?” In my state, teachers can opt out of the union but less than 2% have and it’s also illegal for teachers to strike, yet every new school year the state teacher’s union targets one or two districts with an illegal strike. That always shut the conversations down because they have no where to go other than to shut up or deliver more stupid remarks.
We must change the way we fund education, tax credit or something that follows the kid administered by the parents/guardian. Until then, we are spinning our wheels.
Weapons are an archetype for masculinity. It is a huge mistake when an adult frustrates a developing boy’s normal need to learn th manage a weapon. A slingshot, Gun, sword etc
For a parent to equate weapons with evil intent is abuse, ignorance and wrong
Good men also need to know how to defend
Watch band of brothers. All of those guys grew up shooting guns. The army sure didn’t teach shifty powers how to ‘shoot the wings off a fly’. His father did. He saved many American lives being a natural sniper
It could have been worse. The kids could have made a pop tart gun.
Hah...beat me to it by mere seconds. Good on you.
Who do these ignoramuses think is going to defend this country?
They’re telling these boys they’re evil? They know nothing of child development. Boys have to handle weapons for normal sexual development.
Get your kids out of this mess
Just when you think folks in charge couldn’t get any more ridiculous ... behold ...
and yet, if he wanted to have an abortion or wanted to remove his testicles the school would have been AOK with it!
When I was a kid, I played with cap guns, and so did every other kid on the block. Some of my grade school classmates even shot real guns at a local target range.
Lol- funny but not so funny as i wouldn’t put it past the ,eft to bring charges like that agaisnt him at some point- they’ve a.ready falsely charged or accused him with “inciting violence” many times already
