There’s never been any evidence phenylephrine is anything better than a placebo for nasal congestion. This is overdue.
Do NOT however, get it confused with pseudoephedrine- that’s the good stuff. (The one you have to show ID for thanks to it being easy to cook into meth).
Sudafed PE- worthless
Regular Sudafed: great decongestant
I’m seeing a lot of news stories failing to distinguish between the two, and a lot of misinformed people.
