We've gotten to the point that there is just too much cancer and so a large part of the body must be amputated to save the patient. There can be no reform because the rot is just that pervasive. Not too mention that trying to reform will just result in a strong passive resistance which will only need to last until the pendulum shifts back in their favor.
Did you even read anything before commenting. Trump was duped and reliant too much on some of his advisors which led to some very poor choices in appointees. That's not turning on something...it's just stating fact.
You also can't refocus the various government agencies. The rot is just that pervasive, and any attempt at change will just result in a passive resistance and slow-roll of the changes...in order to wait until the next Preisdent is elected and then it is back to business as usual. Nope, eliminate them, push some of the responsibilities back to the states with funding and out of the ashes, have a much smaller organization with some oversight and recommendation roles. Have the agencies actually recommend changes to law, and not be able to issue 'rules' that are enacted as if they are law.
So Vivek wants to do what Trump is going to do. No fan of vivek but Trump should have done what he says hes going to do this time around
The FBI was created by executive order and can be shut down by executive order.
Trump had NO idea that 97% of DC was TOTALLY EVIL and CORRUPT!! He thought Our Military leaders were DECENT....HA....they are TOTALLY CORRUPT!
True, in that everything Trump did was attacked in court.
He could attempt it in two parts, the first being, not allow the use of government facilities for union reps and not allowing OMB withhold union dues out of the paychecks.
Both of those would fall under the constitutional provision that government money is not to be used for private purposes.
He’d also have to act fast - firing anyone not making that happen for insubordination before a stay gets in place.
Then they can sue him for reinstating that and he can simply not participate, sort of like Andrew Jackson operated.
Its hard to argue with him. Trump’s biggest mistake was in trusting and trying to work with RINOs and various government bureaucrats. We all saw how they systematically betrayed and sought to undermine him at every turn.
I want a retributive presidency. I want Trump to return for a 2nd act knowing full well what the RINOs and DC Swamp are like and determined to destroy them.
I think Trump said that he was going to destroy the deep state. I take him at his word.
