Republican presidential candidate Vivek Ramaswamy took a swipe against former President Trump for being "duped by the adviser class" ahead of his first major domestic policy speech laying out his plan to dismantle what he calls "the administrative state."

As for shutting down multiple government departments, cutting 75% of government workers, this proves he is absolutely clueless about the government and what can and should be accomplished. We've had decades of politicians promising to cut government and none have succeeded. Nor would Ramaswamy. Getting rid of NRC and CDC, no way. Refocus them! Same with others.
Even Trump didn't try to do this.
So Vivek wants to do what Trump is going to do except he doesn’t have the military backing his play. So epic fail.

I do not think what Ramaswamy said should be taken as an attack on Trump. It is something that many Trump supporters here have said. PDJT did not realize how deep, wide, and vicious the Deep State was/is.

In addition to replacing all appointees on day 1 like Clinton did, he should terminate the union for government employees.
Again, Ramaswamy is spouting talking points like a high school debater with understanding the details and implications.
Yes, odd he didn’t fire all political appointees like most previous presidents. But the union, that would get stopped in court before the ink dried (unlike New Mexico governor’s suspension of 2nd amendment that can’t get into a courtroom.)
