As for shutting down multiple government departments, cutting 75% of government workers, this proves he is absolutely clueless about the government and what can and should be accomplished. We've had decades of politicians promising to cut government and none have succeeded. Nor would Ramaswamy. Getting rid of NRC and CDC, no way. Refocus them! Same with others.

Did you even read anything before commenting. Trump was duped and reliant too much on some of his advisors which led to some very poor choices in appointees. That's not turning on something...it's just stating fact.
You also can't refocus the various government agencies. The rot is just that pervasive, and any attempt at change will just result in a passive resistance and slow-roll of the changes...in order to wait until the next Preisdent is elected and then it is back to business as usual. Nope, eliminate them, push some of the responsibilities back to the states with funding and out of the ashes, have a much smaller organization with some oversight and recommendation roles. Have the agencies actually recommend changes to law, and not be able to issue 'rules' that are enacted as if they are law.
