ah yes, reminds some of us older folks here, President Johnson lamented that “if he had lost Walter Cronkite, he had lost middle America”, to paraphrase the thought LBJ had.
It does seem we are hearing more and more talk, that Joe should step aside. There is talk, even on liberal cable TV news yakfest programs, that Joe is getting old, has liabilities, etc.
The CIA has spoken. Biden will not run or he will be made unable to run.
Your perceptions are correct, I'm sure the data would reflect the increasing suggestions that Biden step aside. It will increase.

But, consider the timing. JFK was shot in Nov. 1963, just months before the presidential primaries began. No other Democrats were able to challenge President Johnson, who was the Democrat nominee in 1964 and was elected president.
If the same situation played out here, then President Kamala would be the incumbent president, with other Democrats on the sidelines, due to the shock and awe of a president having been assassinated.
If the powers that be really don’t want Kamala, then they have to have Joe out of the picture some other way.
Maybe timed for Shelly’s disinterest in any more campaigning than necessary?

My prediction made long ago still stands. This is what I think. 1. Biden has a “Health Emergency” (before the impeachment) and forced to resign. 2. Harris will be sworn in as president and read a nice speech (written for her by Obama) No more winging it word salads. 3. She will select Hillary Clinton as her VP. (She will give a great speech) This is her bone for helping to rid the Deep State of Trump. Bill Clinton will die and she will be all tears and Love for this “Great American” (The media and public will eat it up like candy and even Trump will be at the funeral and hug Hillary). 4. New Scandals will emerge pointing to corruption on the part of Harris (who pardons Joe and Hunter Biden) causing her to resign and Hillary will be President and face off DeSantis—and win. Trump being locked out of the GOP Convention for being a Felon.

Make no mistake. For a long time it’s not been about Biden but about the collection of liberal causes. Liberals don’t care whether they vote for Biden or another equivalent flag bearer that’s sanctioned by their media.
This election has got to be about policy, not individuals.
Hard to decide whether David Ignatius is really this IGNORANT, completely OUT OF TOUCH WITH REALITY, or just plain DECEITFUL.
He is by a mile their strongest candidate. They have noone else.
They know only an old white guy can win, because he’s the only one who can get the votes of Anti-Trump “Republicans”.
At least he's honest enough to immediately give away his real intentions. He could care less about Biden's obvious corruption, his senile dementia and mental incapacity, fetanyl pouring in through an open border, the abuses of power, the growing lawlessness in our cities or the pandering to terrorists.
They just aren't issues AT ALL! Absolutely ZERO patriotism or concern about the future of this country. His only concern is that Trump will win if Biden is the Demrat standard bearer in 2024.
Either back down now, or we will permit Impeachment and slander what little legacy you even think you have left, which is solely Joe's contribution to the 1994 Superpredators bill lofl...
Don't kid yourself. He is the crème de la crème of the elites, in his own and their minds. They are almost a different species, and they are everywhere out there.
