First they need to separate drag queens from “gays”.
1. Drag queens are no more intrinsice to being “gay” than are blue eyes intrinsic to being “white”. And, additionally, drag queens are a choice while blue eyes are not. The point is that while the majority of drag queens are “gay”, the majority of “gay men” are not drag queens, do not want to be drag queens and do not think (imitating women) is what they, gay men, are about.
2. Drag queens are adult behavior not family entertainment. Being part of an event with drag queens, is not being tolerant of “gays” in any genral way at all, because it assumes that all “gays” go along with drag queen behavior, which is not true.
3. Drag queen events have no place at all where childen are, anymore than do topless female dancers, and yes I put drag queens in the same category.
