Jones commented were outrageous. It was more than hurt feelings. He owes them. IF he were a principled man he would pay up

Many people were saying much the same back then. They didn’t get sued and most never listened to Jones.

They do not deserve nor is it fair to go for a 1.5 billion judgement.

Going for that much just makes those families look like greedy opportunists.

I hope they never get a red cent.

Yes, his comments were outrageous. So what?

$1.5 billion is ridiculous and was meant to absolutely destroy Jones, not punish wrongdoing. It's more money than he'd ever be capable of earning. How is that justice?

“Jones commented were outrageous. It was more than hurt feelings. He owes them.”

It is lawfare.

I am sure many Freepers have made comments that “were outrageous” and “was more than hurt feelings”.

If everyone who called me a “nut” and “insane” had to pay me damages I would be a billionaire.

;-)
