Gas here in Los Angeles is up to $6.39 a gallon at many stations.

Really.

“cheap” gas up here in northern CA is now $5.18 a gallon. This place is friggin INSANE.

Of which $.78 is state tax and fees. The feds add on another 18 cents.

Compared to Texas, 20 cents per gallon, you already start at a disadvantage, regardless of the price of oil.
