DeSantis is just using it as something to throw at Trump.

Trump called his signing at a STATE level “terrible”. He could have deferred state business as state business and then talked about whatever roles remain federally. But he couldn’t help himself. It is Trump using it as something to throw at DeSantis.

Trump could have taken credit for his nomination and appointment of justices that now actually ALLOW citizens, legislators, and governors of a state to make these determinations.

I’d have been in full support of that. But he can’t and he won’t. It’s not politically convenient at this point in the electoral process.

Yet it is deSantis SAYING “Republican presidential candidate Ron DeSantis says Donald Trump’s recent statements on the abortion issue show the former president’s “values” are out of step with Iowa GOP voters”.
