Checked around my town yesterday - and it was difficult to find gas for under $6.00/gallon. I had gas points from Ralphs and that helped take off .50 cents/gallon.
Also read a report yesterday from the West Hollywood area that thieves are boring into gas tanks and draining them - there will be a lot more of this as gas prices continue to soar - in California due to lefty taxes - we have the highest gas taxes in the nation. One lady said her gas tank was drained while she watched her kid’s Little League game, another said it was right in front of his home.
So we’ve got rampant catalytic converter thefts and now gas thefts - the deep blue pols in California, headed by Gavin Newsom do not care - why should they? Taxpayer pay for the gas and drivers for their limos.
We’d better hope this lefty monster doesn’t become POTUS.

So what do you expect? Go long on oil, if you can afford to. Very turbulent commodity. If you’ve got real estate that has minerals beneath it, drill, baby! Drill!
