Where is the art of the 15th and 16th century African Renaissance artists?

It doesn't exist, just as the African Renaissance doesn't exist. And then we have this ignorant tw@t, with no ability to develop an original idea, simply parodying the work of actual artists.

Actually, in that era, African artists produced stunning bronze and ivory figures and reliefs for African royal palaces, especially in Benin. Eventually, the British arrived and in an 1897 punitive expedition looted the palaces and took as much of Benin's artwork as they could get their hands on. Some of that art remains in European museums, some is in private collections, while a portion has been repatriated to African museums.

Today, artists and workshops in Africa produce new bronzes for sale, often in the style of Benin's royal bronzes.
