The “Not now” button was below the Login button (at least on my browser). You might try scrolling down a bit.

I scrolled way down and there was nothing.   When went to the link the first time a message window pop-up asked me if I wanted to login with Facebook and I X'ed out of it.   I suspect that blew my chance of doing anything else with the video.

The little girl is not a teenager.

The dad said there was nothing he could do. I guess he can't take away a cell phone from an 11 year old.

The dad said there was nothing he could do to identify a sexual predator and get him prosecuted.   That is a job for the police officers and that is the only conversation that should have occurred.

Suppose someone is in an automobile accident and is ejected from the car.   The person that caused the accident fled the scene with the victim's car still in the intersection.   While the woman is on the sidewalk waiting for an ambulance the police officer tells her that she could be charged with obstruction of traffic.   Only an idiot would think like that.

I am on the cops side on this one.

Of course you're on the cop's side. The kid felt pressure and didn't know that "no" was an answer.

Guess who are the first to go after guns.

Bad cops who are fully protected by the thin blue line of "good" cops.

Exactly this. How often do you hear about cops telling the truth about each other? They literally try to get you killed.

In other words, police are well within their rights to pick and choose when to intervene to protect the lives and property of others — even when a threat is apparent.

See: people getting attacked by panty-fa, who suddenly step in when panty-fa start getting beat up.

In some states, like mine, Sheriff’s have been unconstitutionally neutered by cutting off their funding.

But, in normal states, sheriffs started out being the Law - Common Law. Any fed entering a county and violating someone’s Constitutional rights are subject to arrest by the lawful County Sheriff.

Police, OTOH, enforce Maritime Law - Contract Law.

Example in right to travel - crossing in your motor vehicle a double yellow line is illegal, and one is subject to being pulled over and cited by police. However, it is not unlawful. Only harm to another human is unlawful, and a motor vehicle crossing that yellow line harms no human. If you are traveling in an automobile though, and hit a human or their property, you have committed a crime in Common Law, and subject to law enforcement action.

She’s a child, she didn’t know what she was doing. She felt bullied, coerced, and that she was doing something wrong or bad by not sending those pictures. Your “professional” bias is showing.

The Commonwealth of Massachusetts has always been slightly contrary to the rest of the States.   Kentucky, Pennsylvania and Virginia have always been a little quirky too.   I have lived in Virginia and Kentucky so I can say that.

Here in Georgia the Sheriffs of every county handle the business of the courts.

Cobb County, where I live, has a 700 strong Police Force that is second to none.

Cobb County Police Department will take action to enforce the law with every crime that is committed and reported.   In addition to the infractions that you seem to disregard.

I feel compelled to point out that the Sheriff Department through the years does not have a stellar record.

Back in 1915, when the Jewish man, Leo Frank, falsely accused of murdering little Mary Phagan, was lynched on a hill just a mile from where I live now, the lynch mob included several former Cobb County sheriffs along with the current sheriff at the time.

Our sheriffs in the past were good ol' boy Democrat partisans if you know what I mean.

So much for your "Sheriff’s have been unconstitutionally neutered."   Here it was done Constitutionally and that's a good thing.
