I recall Obama’s deal in organizing all the major cities Mayors as one unit in order to gain power - I said then he’s going to make them into one operating unit to push thru his agendas and we see this playing out today.
Pennsylvania is Philadelphia and Pittsburgh with Alabama in between.

I’ll have to look for that one, next time I go to an ABC Store.
The SHURE system is the voter role system in PA. The auditor general’s required audit of the system under Bookvar failed because she ordered her dept of state people to not cooperate. This audit is required by law but the law has no teeth. If the audit is required and the DOS fails the audit. No votes count for any election in the state. That’s how to write a law.
Is it greater than 5.4%? Everything I’ve tried recently, is like drinking water.
In defense of Pennsylvania. It’s the f’in Jersey and New York people who pushed this over the edge.
Amen preach it brother.
Just look at Filthedelphia, Pittsburg, Scranton, and Erie areas.
Also to a lesser extent, Lehigh Valley & Reading city.
Thank all those half wits for Pennylvania’s mess!
90% of PA is solid conservative to moderate with the exception, being the above!
Plus, the Republitard party in PA is just that, ‘tards.
Can’t or won’t fight their way outta a wet paper bag!
Pathetic, worthless DB’s!!!!!!!
I started saying, a few years ago, that the US is like the EU, except with a standing military. That is, both are a federation of individual “mostly sovereign” countries. I very strongly see the US as 50 separate countries, not “states”. It’s why I hate when people lump controversial statistics together as though we were a single country. We’re not, just as the EU is not a single country.
If I were to craft a composite TV character that represented the average Pennsylvania male, he would look, sound and act just like Fetterman.
The defining story of Pennsylvania was from the fall of 2020 when PA school districts were trying to figure out what to do with school openings or modified classes during the COVID fiasco. In all the media reports and public commentary on the subject in the late summer of 2020 in my neck of the woods, I didn’t see or hear any input from PA residents who gave a damn about whether or not schools would be in session in the fall of 2020.
All anyone cared about was that high school sports would resume.
I think the average Pennsylvanian is mildly retarded.
Sierra Nevada is 6.0 ABV
When I think of Pennsylvanians, I agree with the author. Mostly morons.
You NEVER go full retard!
I would tend to agree that we’re headed that way as states have been standing their ground more and more as independent from Washington thought and agendas - especially since Biden took office.
PA has become the “keystone” of destruction though it was there that the Declaration was signed and the Constitution drafted in the mis-named Philadelphia.
It’s called “federalism,” something that was buried during the New Deal.
LA has this with New Orleans big time.
Is it actually the voters or the RATS election rigging?
I see it as returning to a pre-civil-war paradigm. People identified with their particular state as opposed to the nation. It’s why they called it “these” united states as opposed to “the US”. It was also pre-17th amendment. That is, the voters didn’t select Senators. Rather, the states selected them. It was a sort of “mini-electoral-college” thing in that their representatives voted, rather than a general election.
Subtle, but it matters, IMO.
Thanks Publius - believe you’re right.
