It still boggles the mind that Republicans / conservatives acting independently of the GOP have not and cannot apparently organize something like this and instead just leave the candidates twisting in the wind. This happened in 2018, 2020, 2022, and now again in 2023. You don't have to have the "donor class" to raise big money. There are almost certainly 500,000 people who could easily chip in $30 in this race, for example, if they were just told and asked.
We need to get to the point where it money is not the decider. As long as the big money can control the elections, the people will lose out.
Every time the GOP contacts me for money I say no. No to RINOs and GOPe, Chamber of Commerce doofuses, etc.
The democrats, who are all in lockstep politically, will always have a money advantage.
Give me another solution. I’m eager to hear one.
That seems to have all started with Obama where his campaign determined that getting $5.00 from a million people is just as good, and easier than getting $5,000,000 from large donors.
I thought the left was all about “getting the money out of politics.”
Outspending does not guarantee wins.
In May, a poll was released showing this race TIED. NO polls have been released since. Does anyone else find this odd?
Why in God’s name didn’t the GOP encourage Rand Paul to run for Governor? This Cameron guy doesn’t stand a chance. He’s already being defined on abortion.
