I used to get the flu twice a year in my 20s but it has now been 40 years since the last bout of that.

Maybe it’s 52 years of tobacco smoking!?

Lol, could be.

Though back when I smoked cigarettes I would have sinus congestion every winter. When I quit, it immediately went away, even though I was still smoking weed all day, every day.

Same here (although more like 35 years) - I can’t remember the last time I had a cold or the flu and never got symptomatic COVID. Our respiratory systems must be a toxic environment for viruses.

(Don’t take up smoking, kids, you’ll regret it)
