Richard Baris and Robert Barnes have been pointing out, the conventional wisdom on this is very likely wrong. The Democrats are largely maxed out on registering those likely to vote Democrat. There are a TON of people in the working and middle class who are likely Trump voters who don’t regularly vote. Somebody was pointing out for example, that everybody would be shocked to learn the number of people in Wisconsin who get hunting tags every year who don’t vote. Registering a whole bunch of people is likely to backfire on Democrats.

“Conventional wisdom” is quite often wrong. The probably is not one of those times, anecdotal stuff aside.
Current total voter registration in PA is down from 2022, which was down from 2020. Hard to believe that someone as corrupt as PA Democrats are allowing voter rolls to be cleaned, but apparently that is happening.
Republicans are slowly eroding Rat registration advantages as well, though Rats are EXPANDING their advantage in key vote fraud areas such as the Philly suburbs (as I pointed out prior to the 2022 elections while idiots were still laser-focused on just Philadelphia), where the total impact of fraud is far greater than the much more-publicized ghetto fraud in Philly.
As to that “conventional wisdom” being largely correct (which it is), if the Joshie Shapiwo Plan For Universal Registration is ever implemented in Texas, it’s game-over for the GOP. There are still an absolute TON of unregistered voters in counties whose demographics have “Democrat” written all over them.
