THEN-—there is the story earlier this year bout the 102nd Great Grandchild of one couple....

The original 2 had 11 kids——

Those kids had 44 kids——grandchildren

Those grandchildren have 102 great-grandchildren-—and COUNTING.

Being an only child means that the child will lack family in the future. Siblings, aunts, uncles and cousins are necessary along with parents to allow the child to have an extended family to be their support.

And keep in touch. I know it can be a burden sometimes but do it anyway. Family is the cornerstone of everything.

I was going to say 44 might be a bit much.....

But we found four to be a nice balance. If you have two when they are fighting no one has a friend, if you have three at some point two will gang up on one. But with four everybody has someone they still like at any point.

Still wish sometimes that we could have had more but we started late.
