A video on social media shows a teacher being knocked to the floor after a female student hurls a chair at her head at a school in Flint, Michigan. The female student was arguing with another female student who was standing on the other side of the teacher. Students in the classroom stood around, while one of them filmed the altercation. The video was posted on September 28.
A source familiar with the situation told The Post Millennial that the teacher was knocked unconscious and remains in the hospital.
The female students screamed at each other prior to one of them lifting a metal classroom chair and hurling it at the other, striking the teacher on the left side of her head. She instantly crumbled to the floor, whereupon the two female students begin to physically fight each other. The video does not show the aftermath of the fight, nor if any students came to the teacher's aid.
The incident took place at Southewestern Classical Academy, one of the Flint Community Schools. Superintendent Kevelin Jones issued a letter on September 28 to school families to inform them of the incident. "We are writing to inform you about a recent incident that occurred at Southwestern Classical Academy concerning a physical altercation between two scholars.

Do not try to access the video replay at the link. It will re-direct you to a false Microsoft alert with a female voice-over claiming your computer is now locked due to unauthorized access to a compromised site. I used Task Manager to delete the entire false message and lockup.
