I remember that day well. We had only lived in Houston a few years when that accident occurred. The truck was on the highest level of the interchange roads and it was probably a 200' drop from that road to where the truck landed.

I wouldn’t say it’s exactly clear, it hugs the ground in a fog.

I spent a year at a local fertilizer plant when I was young
Worked a lot with anhydrous. Even did custom application for far
This thread just brought back memories. I’m looking right now at a 50 year old scar on my wrist that was nothing more than a scratch that I got working on a tank. Took all summer for it to heal

Interesting that the driver has not been identified for the public.
Falling asleep at the wheel is a likely cause.
We need to know more before the Butt-edge-edge spin starts.

That is a correlary to coulter’s law. The longer it takes to identify the race of the person, the higher probability it was a dark skinned race. When it is never publicied, that is a 100% guarantee it was a dark skinned race.

If so, five people were killed by a sleepy or stoned man who should not have been driving.
The National Transportation Board is investigating ( burying the truth). The county coroner refused to identify anyone. The local fireman and LEOs....shut right up......oh its SO good to live in the Dem lefty dictatorship of “Free Illinois.”

I worked at a shipyard that repaired barges once upon a time. One had been transporting ammonia and had a crack in the interior hull that leaked into a wing tank. Just stepping over the access hatch nearly got to me. Pre OSHA days. Nasty stuff.

Coulter’s Law applies generally to crime, not industrial accidents.

I worked with it also. We piped it from tanks to heat treat furnaces using extra strong fittings and seamless pipe schedule 80. I had the misfortune of getting gassed a few times, very scary just a whiff was enough to gag and make you puke. burn your eyes and skin. Nasty shit.

YOu miss the point. NO matter who it was or what color of skin he had he likely fell asleep at the wheeel.
Why did he fall asleep?
There are many reasons:
1) patrtying late
2) stoned on drugs
3) overworked, too may copnsecutive driving hours
Or just maybe he was texting on his cell phone.
Its poassingly strange that the driver of this truck has NOT been identified
