Speaker Kevin McCarthy (R-Calif.) is indicating he’s against any motion to vacate Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce’s reportedly budding relationship, saying the public is “excited” by it.
Asked during a Monday appearance on Fox News’s “Fox & Friends” if he watched the previous night’s football game between the New York Jets and the Kansas City Chiefs — which “Karma” singer Swift attended as she cheered on Chiefs tight end Kelce — McCarthy replied that his inner circle was happy about the matchup and the coupling.

Politicians don’t do themselves any favors dipping their beaks into cotton-candy twitter gossip like this.
I include Donald Trump with this statement, who made his own remarks about these two only yesterday.
I can sort of understand why Trump would feel inclined to talk about it, seeing as he comes from a career background of working with show people, pro athletes and high level pageants.
They were and probably still are a big part of his world.
