Yeah. As much as I like him, Trump is sometimes as clueless as anyone. I'd like to think that if he gets another chance (incredibly unlikely, given the vast array of forces willing to do anything to stop that from happening), he will do things differently, and he will be more aware of just how many backstabbing scum there are in D.C.
That doesn’t make Trump wrong, it is McConnell that has been dishonest. You sometimes have to take a risk that someone might try to stab you in the back. I don’t like McConnell but he has a lot of power. A couple more strokes and that can change. I will probably have a big drink of Schadenfreude.
