In truth, Cuellar isnt one of your typical dems.
According to the website, http://politicsthatwork.com/voting-record/Henry-Cuellar-400657 he votes 5.3% of the time in support of more gun control.
Methinks he is one of those ‘moderate’ dems whose district (Laredo) is being overrun by illegals.
Despite being a democRat from Texas, he has been very vocal in his criticism of Xiden’s border policies. That being said I recently saw the suggestion that the mugging was a warning from the administration - pipe down or go down.
Did he say, “Don’t you know who I am?”
He is one of the most conservative Dems in the house and from a district that is both heavily Hispanic and relatively conservative. Perhaps this will make a Republican out of him.
It gives me great pleasure (schadenfreude) watching democrat politicians suffer from their destructive insane policies.

Democrat Congressman Henry Cuellar was just car jacked at gun point in Navy Yard which is just a few miles from the Capitol.
I hope he’s ok.
They should be prosecuting real criminals instead of persecuting their political enemies.
